Snooze'n at Grandmas

Snooze'n is what a newborn does best but Cole really loved sleeping on Grandma's bed. He looked like a little tiny thing on that great big bed.

4th of July at Uncle Steve's

For Colton's first trip away from home and his first Holiday we went down to Bend to visit Uncle Steve, Aunt Lisa and the kids. We had a great time visiting. For the fire work show we found a spot at the River's Edge Golf Course and dodged sprinklers as we watched. Tyler enjoyed them but Cole only wanted to eat and sleep. I guess one cannot expect more from a 3 week old!

Cousin Ryan didn't really know what to do with such a little guy

Back at the house Ty finally got to set off his fireworks.

My Teddy

Grandma picked out Cole's first Teddy at Build a Bear as she did with Tyler. She recorded herself saying his birth date, weight, and length and put it in the teddy's little paw. He is bigger than Colton is!

So sweet!

Yay My First Mail

Colton received his first mail and we had to document the moment of course.

Straw-babies

My Mommy brought me my very own straw-babies to enjoy while being stuck in the hospital. They are my very favorite!! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire pint - all by myself. OK I did allow Steve to have a few but they were sooo good.

Gotta love the strawberries!!

Sleeping Is What I Do Best

Have you ever seen such a cute sleeper? Cole is always doing something "sweet" with his hands when he sleeps. I love when he puts them under his chin or on his cheek, he looks like a little angel. When he is laid down on his own he always flings his arms above his head and streches. Most newborns still like to be all bundled up in a little ball but Cole loves to strech. I think he was just to squished in my belly and loves that he has room now!

One proud Daddy!

We Love our Grammy

We enjoyed having Steve's Mom up for a visit from California. With Cole coming a few days late we had a lot of time to visit and for Ty to get some good Grammy time in. I appreciate all of the help that she gave with getting ready for the baby and keeping Ty busy. (Or was is Ty keeping Grammy busy?) After we came home from the hospital Grammy had Cole every second that she could trying to suck up as much loves and kisses as she could before she had to head home. I can't imagine living so far away. My Mother is over here daily to see the boys and acts like she hasn't squeezed them in days when she gets her hands on them.
