Birthday at the Beach

My Wonderful sister invited me to spend the weekend with her at the Seaside Resort over my birthday weekend. After getting over the guilt of not spending my birthday with my boys I accepted and I am very glad that I did. We had a wonderful girls weekend and enjoyed doing mostly nothing!!!!

My birthday turned out to be the most beautiful day we had seen in weeks. I told everyone that of course it was because it was my birthday!!

Sir Chunks A Lot Learning To Crawl

Our Family Day Adventure

We designated a Family Day in our hectic schedule for all fun all day. We started with a yummy breakfast and then spent the afternoon on the river in Steve's boat. We took an adventure to Cook Island - a small island that is only accessible by boat.

Steve and Ty have been taking the boat out lately fishing for sturgeon. After catching and releasing more then twenty fish that weren't big enough he finally caught a "keeper" that was 42 inches long. I'll have to get the picture from his iPhone so you all can be amazed.

The island was turned into a park for boaters. It has picnic areas with BBQ pits and even one with a fireplace (behind Steve). They also have the nicest pit potties that I have ever used. A big deal for us girls!!

After walking around the island we had a picnic and enjoyed a little good old fashioned junk food.

Big Boy Car Seat

My baby is too big for his infant car seat! He is getting sooooooo big way too fast. 7 months now with two baby teeth and almost crawling. I love you my big boy but slow down!!!!!

Colton's first visit with Santa wasn't the best experience for him but he sure liked to help Aunt Shell hand out books to the kids!

At our Christmas program at church Tyler was Joseph and yes, my little one was Baby Jesus. They both did a great job. Colton smiled and played with his toes the whole time! Too Cute!!

A Merry Christmas Update

If know that being a mother of two isn't an excuse as of why I haven't been a committed blogger lately, but I am just plain tired by the time it is time to take out the computer. One thing I am good at is taking pi cutes, so I will have some great pics to share when I get the itch to blog again. Here are a few moments I captured in the last few weeks. Ty's birthday this year fell on Thanksgiving day. Yep, his Daddy got him a BB gun and he is the happiest boy on Earth!

My Santa Baby braved the crazy Black Friday crowds with Mom, Aunt and Grandma. He smiled and melted people's hearts all day long.
